We are a Civil Society integrated by more than 50 wineries of the area. We have 28 years of experience in the promotion of the grape growing and wine industry of Baja California and we organize several productions that contribute to the promotion of the wine culture.
Reviving history and the greatness of
our wine-growing region
The main winemaking valleys of the country are in Baja California with Ensenada being the town were the majority of these concentrate; their total production it’s equivalent to 75% of the wine produced in Mexico, making this state the undisputed leader of the Mexican wine culture.
The valleys that make up our region are:
• Valle de Guadalupe.
• Valle de Ojos Negros.
• Valle de Santo Tomás.
• Valle de San Vicente.

Fiestas de la
For 30 years we have paid homage to the season of the harvest of the wine. We are proudly the owners of the trade mark of the traditional “Fiestas de la Vendimia”; celebrations that are held for 25 days (july-august) were the most important wineries of the zone, international chefs and the most prestigious restaurants in Mexico reunite.

Originary from the city of Mexicali, B.C. he has a degree in communication sciences by the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. In 2009 he inaugurated along with his family and accepted the direction of the winery La Lomita opening the way, among other projects, to a new generation of producers that impulse the Baja Californian technological development, infrastructure and wine tourism development. In 2011 founds Finca La Carrodilla, the first vineyard with organic certification and biodynamic practices in Mexico.
His work in the area has led him to preside the Wineries Association of El Ejido El Provenir and and to take part as Secretary of the previous board of directors of Provino Baja California.
Originary from Mexico City, Santiago studied his superior studies in the Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico City, getting the degree in Business Administration. Later he studied an Executive MBA in a joint program of the ITESM with the UT Austin.
In the year of 2014 takes the direction of Bodegas de Santo Tomas thanks to which this organization faced a new horizon that has allowed to develop its full potentiality, being today a leading brand on the wine culture in Baja California.
Born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora with professional studies of Biochemical engineer in the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). He has the speciality of Oenology and Viticulture in the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC).
He counts with 30 years of experience in the sea food processing and 9 years in the wine making process. He’s a founding partner and responsable of the wines from Las Nubes vineyard besides being founding partner and responsable of the wines from Cava Aragón 126 (Madera 5).
